National examinations at the end of secondary school are used by the Tanzanian Government to select students for single-sex sixthforms at government boarding schools. Sixthform tuition is free but students are charged all other expenses such as books, accommodation and food. Our charity pays these expenses.
College/University
Further exams determine whether a student progresses to a college or university. The government provides no financial support. Our charity can pay some or all of the fees and expenses depending on personal circumstances, including tuition and course fees, books, accommodation, food, travel, personal care and, when necessary, a mobile phone to contact support if needed.
